Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb black fine shrimp
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 tbsp garlic and wiri pepper paste about 8-10 cloves of garlic and 3-5 wiri peppers
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 medium peeled potatoes diced
  • ½ tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 sazon packet
  • 2 lbs bora or Chinese long beans
  • 6 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a medium-sized pot.
  • Add 1 tbsp of garlic and pepper paste, stirring for about a minute, then add in the black fine shrimp.
  • Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper.
  • Cook the shrimp for about 5-6 minutes, then remove them into a separate container.
  • In the same pot, add the remaining oil and let it heat up.
  • Add diced onions, potatoes, tomatoes, 1 tbsp garlic and pepper paste, and 1 tbsp tomato paste to the pot.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Simmer for about 10 minutes, then add in the bora.
  • After an additional 10 minutes, add in the cooked shrimp.
  • Mix everything together and cook on medium-high heat for 30-40 minutes until the water has evaporated, and the bora is loose and not clumped. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
