Kristine’s Instant Mashed Potatoes
These instant mashed potatoes redefine the notion of quick and delicious.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces instant mashed potatoes
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water optional
- ½ cup melted unsalted butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Pour milk into a large mixing bowl and add potato flakes and stir well with a whisk to make sure all flakes are moistened. Let sit for five minutes.
- Use a hand mixer to mix and fluff potatoes on medium speed for one minute.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix on medium to medium high until all ingredients are well combined. Mix should be slightly fluffy and smooth.
- Add water if needed to change consistency to your liking.
- Garnish with parsley.
