Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces instant mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water optional
  • ½ cup melted unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Pour milk into a large mixing bowl and add potato flakes and stir well with a whisk to make sure all flakes are moistened. Let sit for five minutes.
  • Use a hand mixer to mix and fluff potatoes on medium speed for one minute.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix on medium to medium high until all ingredients are well combined. Mix should be slightly fluffy and smooth.
  • Add water if needed to change consistency to your liking.
  • Garnish with parsley.
