  • Periodically taste and adjust salt to achieve the desired flavor.

Mash and Fry:

  • Once the pumpkin softens, use a spoon to break it down.
  • Let it fry for another 15 minutes until excess water has cooked out.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Garnish with chopped green onions.
  • Optional: Add the previously cooked shrimp back to the pot.
